It’s hard for me to believe that I am JUST NOW blogging this wedding because of how impactful it was to me. I’ve never seen so much laughter, followed by just as many tears. From the moment I stepped onto Sacred Mountain at the rehearsal, I felt like I was part of the family. I was a complete stranger from the east coast, and when I met the two of them, it was nothing but love from them and their families. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Ashley and Jessie were also planning another huge adventure. They bought an RV and were planning on taking their pup Ruca on an extended honeymoon (two weeks after the wedding) with no real end date in sight.
As the day unfolded, I realized more and more that this wasn’t just a wedding celebration. It was also a farewell to two people that were loved by so many. From getting ready to the ceremony to the bridal party photos – it was a joy-filled party.
Maybe it’s fitting that I’m sharing this story now because Ashley and Jessie appear to be back from their honeymoon. Back with a book full of memories and stories to tell. If you’d like to see some of their adventures, you can follow along on their Instagram – The Nomad Newlyweds
